I made a wreath!
myself.
with my own vision.
and hands.
etc.:
I'm ecstatic that it is actually staying together and that I managed to tie a decent looking bow (who knew?)! It's supposed to freeze tonight (yay!?) so maybe the frost will cement everything in place? Though quite sure nature doesn't work that way, it'd be nice not to wake up to it in tatters on my lawn.
On to the good stuff though, because oh was there goodness at the ol' 'brary today. Yet another contender for the Urban Outfitter children's library is People by Blexbolex. Though it remains legitimately amazing, in my opinion, despite the weirdness, it was filled with "people" that were definitely not a part of wee-Steff's vocabulary (nor any other child I know). obviously a French not an American book, though once more proof that only people you don't want to see in the buff walk around that way.
this one just made me laugh--is there actually a French word for that?
because hipster babies party hard into the night.
(though mostly, this was just in honor of sister+christopher)
à la prochaine!
